Wine & Cinema in Cognac: International spotlight on the large screen

The heart of Cognac City and its vineyard will host the 27th International Festival of Films & Photos on Vinegrape & Wine Œnovideo® from the 28 to 31th of May 2020. 

The 26th International Oenovideo Festival Awards Ceremony Oenovidéo  

She gathered at the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris, films producers, directors and photographers from all over the world. On this occasion, they received the awarded for best films and photographs on the vinegrape and wine.

The emotion was palpable when Catherine Lamour, president of the Grand Jury presented the Trophies to the 14 best 2019 films selected from 144 films from 17 countries in competition. The 2019 prize list confirms the international character of the Festival and rewards achievements from South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Hungary and Georgia.

The closing of the ceremony was the occasion of a beautiful passage of relay

The venue of the Oenovideo 2020 Festival has been revealed. Thus, from May 28 to 31, 2020, the city of Cognac and the agglomeration community of Grand Cognac were chosen by the organizing committee to host the 27th edition of the International Film Festival Oenovideo, and the 15th edition of Terroirs d’images the International photography Exhibition on the vine grape and wine.

To the delight of festival-goers, films and photographs from around the world on vinegrape and wine will be welcomed in Cognac. Wine tourism destination in full development, Cognac is resolutely turned international and the heart of a large vineyard covering three appellations (Cognac, Pineau des Charentes and Charentais wines).
